Termómetro
Mide la temperatura. Existen varias escalas de medida, la más utilizada en meteorología es grado celsius o centigrado (°C).

Barómetro
Mide la presión de la atmósfera, es decir el "peso" de la cantidad de aire que hay por encima del aparato. Se mide en hectopascales (hPa). 1hPa 1 mb
Pluviómetro
Mide la cantidad de precipitación que cae en un lugar. Está graduado en milímetros. La cantidad de precipitación se mide el litros. 11-1 cm3
